Peter Gossamer
Peter Gossamer is world renown for his electrifying performance of magic, dance and theater. He is considered a pioneer in magic because of his original concepts and fresh approach to the art of illusion. On completion of the Chavez College of Magic and Prestidigitation in Los Angeles, he earned a BA degree in marketing at Kent State University in Ohio. Upon graduation, he joined the cruise lines and eventually became promoted to the youngest cruise director in all cruise line fleets. Peter left the sea to further his career in venues such as Chateau Champlain in Montreal, Canada, Sheraton Walker Hill in Seoul, Korea, the Fontainebleau in Miami and the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. He has perfected his spellbinding performances in Atlantic City, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Singapore and Guam, where he starred in Fantastique, the largest production show in Asia. Gossamer has made numerous television appearances, including 4 French television shows in Montreal and three invitations to Spanish TV’s largest network, Univision Television. Peter was also featured in the U.S.A. on the popular national television special NBC’s “World’s Greatest Magic” as well as numerous talk shows. He has starred in the show, “Abracadabra” in the Sheraton Valley Forge Casino in Philadelphia, PA, hailed as the best show in the theater’s 13-year history. Also he starred in a 6-month contract at Caesar’s Casino in South Africa starring in “Eclipse” as well as the record setting “Las Vegas Illusion” in Tokyo. Peter has surpassed all previous reviews in the Opera House Theater in Branson, Missouri, for quality and overall guest satisfaction. This explains his third consecutive summer invitation. More recently, Peter has starred in "Illusions of Magic" for 3 consecutive years the Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC. This explains why Peter Gossamer has just been awarded the Illusionist of the Year for 2019 from the illustrious Milbourne Christopher foundation. Peter is partnered with his wife Carol to make a true dynamic duo. Carol has been a professional singer dancer for over 25 years. She began her career with Merv Griffin at Resorts International Casino and quickly moved to Las Vegas. She continued to follow her dream performing as well as choreographing and performing throughout Europe with the USO International Show. Carol is a veteran performer with Legends in Concert. She’s been a Miss New Jersey Pageant choreographer and played the role of Ann-Margret in the international touring show of Elvis Lives. Carol is also a lead judge for Starpower Nexstar and Revolution national talent competition. She also donates her time with the Bonnie Blue Foundation coaching young women involved in the Miss America Pageant organization. Carol performs throughout the world with her husband, Peter with their Magic Illusion show “Gossamer Magic”. Gossamer Magic is in demand in the corporate venues as well. They are often hired to make CEO’s appear and vanish as well as producing products as large as automobiles. Truly Gossamer Magic is one of the most memorable celebrities in magic with charismatic personalities that makes them deservedly popular wherever they appear!
