Nathan Burton

Born in Oakland, California, Nathan Burton was bitten by the “magic bug” at the age of four when he performed his first show in front of his kindergarten class. Although none of the tricks went as planned, he was hooked instantly, deciding that magic was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. By the age of 18, Burton had already won four first place trophies at international competitions for his original blend of comedy magic, which later earned him multiple appearances on NBC’s The World’s Greatest Magic specials. After headlining at the renowned Showboat Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City in his early 20’s, Burton went on to perform throughout Europe and later spent a year in South Korea, where he amazed audiences by vanishing an elephant nightly. Upon his return to the United States, Nathan was cast as the featured performer in the critically acclaimed Showgirls of Magic in Las Vegas. After a brief run in Reno in Whisper at Harrah's , he returned to Vegas to perform in V – The Ultimate Variety Show. In 2005, he was not only seen by over 95 million viewers on E! Network’s The Entertainer starring Wayne Newton, but Nathan also received national attention from Larry King for his Ultimate Las Vegas Showgirl Challenge. On May 25, 2006, Nathan’s dream of headlining his own show finally came true as Nathan Burton Comedy Magic opened at the Aladdin Hotel & Casino, which later moved to the world-famous Flamingo showroom in April of 2008, where he shared the stage with Donny & Marie Osmond. Just weeks after opening at the Aladdin, Burton was once again back in the national spotlight, this time amazing viewers and judges with his numerous appearances on season one of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Due to Nathan’s popularity on the hit show, he appeared again on season four and was invited back as a guest performer during season seven as well. Around the same time, Burton was also featured on countless other television shows including TLC’s Miami Ink, VH1’s Surreal Life: Fame Games, The Food Network’s Last Cake Standing, truTV’s Storage Hunters, NBC's Miss USA Pageant, Lifetime's Coming Home, and China’s Got Talent – a live performance which was seen by an estimated 1.4 billion viewers. In the fall of 2012, Nathan Burton Comedy Magic moved from the Flamingo to its current home at the beautiful Saxe Theater inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino’s Miracle Mile Shops. One of the most in-demand entertainers across the globe, Burton continues to amaze audiences in Las Vegas and beyond..
